Fitment
The sizes worth checking before you order
Most of what goes wrong with a small part is a size, not a defect. These are the numbers worth checking against the car before the part arrives.
Measure these, not the car badge
- Cup holder: across the top of the opening, not the bottom. Holders taper, and an insert is sized to the mouth.
- Windscreen shade: the glass width at its widest and the height from the dashboard to the top of the glass.
- Hitch receiver: the square opening, which on passenger vehicles is usually two inches.
- Door edge trim: the run in feet, doubled if you are doing both sides, plus a foot for mistakes.
- Battery terminal: post diameter and which side is positive. They are different sizes for a reason.

Counted from the parts on this site. Universal means the part is stated to fit the standard size rather than a particular car, and where a part names cars, the page lists them.
